Real animals make the best characters.

Pet Published is an independent publishing brand. We turn the personalities and adventures of real animals into imaginative books and creative experiences.

Our first book, Nosy Rosie: A Story & Coloring Adventure, was written by Sky Kelly and inspired by a real gray tabby cat. Rosie is illustrated in color, and the world around her is left for children to color themselves.

That idea guides everything we make: the character stays recognizable, and the child creates the world. It is a story you read, a world you color, and a character you grow with.

Pet Published is the publisher. Rosie is our flagship character, and we hope she is the first of many original titles.

Publishing our own books taught us what it takes to get an idea into readers' hands: the story, the artwork, the design and the print-ready details. Today we also offer that experience to other creators through our Book Creation Services, from first idea to finished book. Pet books remain a specialty, and projects are not limited to pets.
